Unity Technologies

Senior Product Designer | Multiplayer Jul 2024 - Sep 2025

  • Led design for engine and cloud integration by collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and Developers across the organization to improve the end to end user experience when making Multiplayer games.
  • Designed the 0->1 experience for Multiplayer Services Widgets, significantly reducing developer onboarding time and accelerating service integration and prototyping in-game.
  • Collaborated with game developers and internal teams to identify pain points in the Multiplayer Services setup process, driving iterative improvements that increased adoption and reduced onboarding friction.

Product Designer Dec 2021 - Jul 2024

  • Led the redesign efforts of Unity's current profiler module to enhance data visualization for the Data Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS) from conceptual ideas to refined wireframes.
  • Worked alongside developers to understand their user journey through gameplay code by diving in and programming several prototypes resulting in a better user experience for developers.
  • Communicated complex designs, prototypes, UX explorations and findings to executive team on a monthly basis by presenting them in an easy to follow summary presentation.
  • Collaborated across several areas including product management, design and development on five different projects ensuring open communication between teams.

  • Communicated directly with product managers and users to understand project requirements and user needs for new features in order to prioritize designs, delivering a better user experience, faster.
  • Delivered high fidelity wireframes in Figma based on the project requirements and user needs allowing Product Managers to receive more accurate user feedback.
  • Collaborated with the customer success team to validate wireframe designs, resulting in twice as much users giving design feedback.

  • Introduced the first user experience framework into the company by creating a design guide that emphasizes best practices when creating web components.
  • Took lead as the liaison between product managers and the development team to turn big picture ideas into specific designs wireframes using Figma.
  • Implemented the designs using Javascript, Ext.js and CSS to adhere to design and accessibility standards.

Software Developer/Interaction Designer Apr 2019 - Apr 2020

  • Developed an API mocking service using .NET for the back-end server and Angular for the front-end client.
  • Created both unit and integration tests for client and server using XUnit and Jasmine.
  • Configured CI/CD pipelines in Azure to automate building, testing and deployment of software.
  • Collaborated with product owners to create three iterations of wireframes using Figma based on user feedback which was then implemented using Angular.

UX Researcher (Contract) Winter 2018 - Spring 2019

  • Conducted three rounds of usability testing across two different projects using Adobe Connect on multiple wireframe iterations.
  • Created six different validated personas based on data gathered from usability testing sessions.
  • Lead the creation of user stories, user journeys and personas to understand the goals of the product design specifications.
  • Worked with multiple project owners to develop project testing plans, surveys, and scripts for usability testing.
  • Analyzed and summarized findings from usability tests into reports, where were then presented to other team members and project owners.

Interaction Designer Intern Summer 2018

  • Prototyped new dashboard designs using JavaScript libraries such as D3.js, Charts.js and React.js according to data visualization principles.
  • Implemented several interactive data visualizations using D3.js, HTML and CSS while adhering to DevOps best practices and principals to ensure continuous integration and delivery of software.
  • Led strategic research in collaboration with the UX team to identify user needs when performing task-based interactions.

Research Assistant Fall 2016 - Fall 2018

  • Developed an experimental framework in Unity 3D using C# to test selection quality of various input devices which led to an academic publication.
  • Integrated the Oculus Rift APIs into the framework to receive controller and headset tracking data.

  • Specialized in Human-Computer Interaction research and design that included user interfaces, cognitive psychology, emerging technology prototyping and quantitative/qualitative data analysis.
  • Designed a mobile phone application using interaction design principles with personas.
  • Conducted in depth user testing to better understand behaviour in virtual environments.
  • Created experimental frameworks for virtual reality built in Unity using the Oculus Rift APIs.
